Emotional Resilience and Empowerment for Codependents

Change Your Mind ~ Change Your Body!

by focusing on setting boundaries, navigating toxic relationships, and removing the stress and anger buttons that others push so that you can finally live your life happy, joyous, and free!

Hey, it's nice to meet you, I'm Sue Chandler...

...and I am a Behavioral Change Specialist. And what that
means is, regardless of the issue someone has, I look at how the mind is creating the issue. We take the emotional charge off of it, and then we shift how the mind is perceiving that particular issue which allows the mind to move forward without pulling it up again.

So how do you do that?

Well, I’m glad you asked!

We sit down and I ask you a whole bunch of questions so I can understand how the mind thinks it’s keeping you safe. Once I have the pattern that the mind is using, we take that emotional charge down, we shift the perception we have of the event, and then the mind doesn't pull it up anymore!

Welcome To Chandler Wellness

As a tapping practitioner focusing on setting boundaries, codependency, and navigating toxic relationships, my business is framed as, “Emotional Resilience and Empowerment for Codependents.”

Within that framework, I emphasize helping individuals
heal from emotional and sexual trauma, distancing or even removing toxic connections, thereby allowing them to regain stability and healthy relationships in their lives.

The foundational belief of my work is that YOU ARE NOT BROKEN. You are successfully producing undesirable outcomes based on what you hold in your unconscious!

You will successfully produce the desirable outcomes you've been working so hard to achieve once we change how the mind perceives past memories and traumas.

*SPOILER ALERT*

Self-discipline and willpower have never had anything to do with it!

?!?!?!?

Yep.

Schedule a free consultation today to learn how that can possibly be true!

Happy Clients

Read what clients have to say:

I recently had my first session of tapping with Sue.  After 6 or 7 years of her suggesting to me that it would be of help, I FINALLY, recently was at the right place and time to get help.  I had put if off because the time never seemed to be right for me.

Well, that day Sue and I were together for a different event.  Later on she looked at me and said, “It’s time!”  Sue just knew I was ready.  I agreed and we began the session.

I wasn’t prepared for the tapping questions Sue asked me.  She had me go back to different times in my life when I started having these issue feelings to find the ROOT of my problem, which was being DISGUSTED about myself.  I had lack of confidence, self-esteem, and was always trying to please others.  I had been mentally abused and gotten used to believing all the put-downs I heard and even read as I was left daily notes to remind me of how “not enough” I was for this person.  So when I looked into my mirror, all I saw was UGLY and negative me!

Sue has a very gentle, kind, and compassionate way while asking you to think, feel, and relate to your problem.  She makes you feel safe and secure while going back to find the answer and reasons for your problem.

I cried and I laughed and I found peace, gladness, and I found my real self again!  With love for me, I have HOPE for my FUTURE!  GREAT ending to my session!

Sue and her professional sessions are amazing!  Truly and deeply helpful!

I greatly rejoice!!!

I had a wonderful session with Sue on Saturday and healed some early teen trauma that I didn't consider trauma until I learned differently!! Thank you Sue!!

That night, my husband and I got into a disagreement and he is a firecracker, so he goes off and then quickly realizes it and apologizes. So he had a fit about something and I would normally be very defensive and react with anger myself.

Instead, I sat there, didn't react at all, knew it was his stuff and laughed when he left the room.  I have NO idea which tapping session cleared my defensiveness but I am SO thankful!! Such freedom in realizing I do not have to react to other people's stuff!!

Much gratitude for this program!

I have been doing EFT for a while now but there was one large area that I wasn't able to work on, this was my history of sexual trauma.  I had been afraid to face this trauma and had been putting it off for a long time.  I finally decided enough was enough and reached out to Sue to help me.

I was so lucky to have her to work with.  During the course of our two-hour session she managed to perform a miracle.  I was actually laughing and enjoying myself while facing this trauma!  I wouldn't have guessed such a thing was possible.

By the end of the session I can honestly say that I have healed something that has haunted me for 30 years.  It has been a couple of weeks since my appointment and I feel so much lighter.  The deep fear and anger has gone and I am finally able to move forward with my life without this massive weight dragging behind me.  If you are struggling with something, do yourself a favour and reach out to Sue for help.

She is amazing and worth every penny.

FAQs

What is "tapping?"

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), sometimes called "tapping," is an alternative therapy that involves tapping on specific points on the body while focusing on emotional issues to promote healing and emotional balance.

Think acupressure as opposed to acupuncture. We use the same electrical meridian system, but gently tap on the points as a pattern interrupt between what the mind perceives and the signal it sends to the organs of your body to freeze, fight, or flee.

Why Are Your Sessions 2 Hours Long?

A quality coaching session begins with a thorough intake to elicit the particular thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes that are driving the behaviors that you want to change, as well as getting clear about the goals/outcomes that you want to accomplish.

The intake questions often take 30-60 minutes. The remaining time will be the actual change work portion of the session, followed by skill building and exercises for emotional power and control between coaching sessions.

In individual cases, this can be adapted, however a full two-hour coaching session is the best way to get thorough changes established.

How many sessions will I need?

Many factors are going to influence your changes. I often remind clients that it’s similar to your relationship with the dentist. The doctor will give you the tools to keep your teeth clean and healthy (toothbrush, paste and floss) but he or she won’t come to your home to brush your teeth for you!

You may have several visits in the beginning to deal with the current issues and poor habits but the quicker you take on the responsibility to maintain the work, the sooner you will adjust to a periodic “checkup”.

The same applies to life coaching and changework. We uncover and change many negative thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes that influence your behaviors.

However, for you to get the most out of it, you will need to do your work between coaching sessions as well. It’s a daily commitment inside and outside of your sessions to continue moving toward lasting transformation.

Will I have to talk about experiences I'm uncomfortable with?

No, this is unlike talk therapy or counseling. It is not necessary for the details of any situation to be shared and I often discourage clients from telling the story of particular events.

Talking ABOUT what happened can be a way of avoiding the emotions associated to what happened.

Why do I need to buy a package of sessions?

"One-off" sessions are reserved for fears/phobias, and "Check-up" sessions for clients that I previously have worked with. This is because it is necessary to have commitment and accountability established so that you experience LASTING changes.

You have to want your changes so much that you commit to showing up to regular sessions prepared to do the work.

This is the way you honor and empower yourself as well as conquer all the ways you previously may have sabotaged making changes.

The cost of sessions varies depending on the package selected and the issues you want help with. Some issues can clear in a very short time. Others have many layers and take more time and sessions. You must schedule a Free 30-Minute Consultation to discuss your particular needs.

What's the difference between tapping and counseling/talk therapy?

What we focus on gets bigger.

If I go to regular counseling and tell the same story every week for 30 years, guess what can happen to my story!

Tapping takes the emotional charge off of an event so that the mind can shift its perception of the event. That shift allows the mind to move forward by no longer pulling that event up as a reference for how to react in an undesirable manner.

I'm NOT saying, don't ever go to counseling! It truly has its place.

I AM saying, tapping can heal trauma in a way that talking about trauma does not.

Can this help me with physical pain or chronic illness?

Absolutely. The body and mind are one system and always communicating with each other.

The body will express what is happening on the subconscious level of the mind.

Very often chiropractors and body workers will refer clients to tapping practitioners like me when those clients have not been making much progress with their current treatment plan.
